Encountering God Together

Nov 26 – Dec 24

The story of Christmas wasn’t just good news 2,000 years ago, it’s good news today! We invite you to join us for a season of slowing down and experiencing the real meaning of Christmas in a way that deeply impacts not just us, but our kids, our families, and our friends. From the Sunday after thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, we’ll take each week to look at a different theme of “arrival”: The arrival of hope, peace, joy, and love.

Join Us for Christmas

Plan to join us in person for a Christmas service at one of our three churches as we light the Christ candle, marking the Advent season’s culmination.

What is Advent?

Advent comes from the Latin word adventus, which means “arrival.” For hundreds of years, followers of Jesus have set aside the four weeks leading up to Christmas as a meaningful season of celebration  and anticipation of the arrival of Jesus.  Advent is a time to slow down and embrace the true hope, love, and joy of the gift of Jesus.
