About the Ministry
ICF Church - Cambodia is one of the most fascinating and beautiful destinations on earth. Not only is this one of the safest locations, but the local Khmer people are also some of the most loving and selfless people you will ever encounter. We will partner with ICF church whose passion is to reach kids, youth, and the unreached villagers outside of the city of Siem Reap.
What Will We Be Doing?
This trip will be unique in that we are looking for 3 specific skill sets to help with various ministry projects in Cambodia: Medical, Artists/Teachers, and Speciality Construction.
Medical care in Cambodia is almost non-existent in many of the villages, and people are dying from treatable illnesses. If you are a medical professional (doctor, nurse, or ophthalmologist, no dental care needed), we have 10 spots open. While in Cambodia, you will go into the villages around Siem Reap and provide checkups as well as treat anything that does not require a hospital. It’s also a great opportunity to pray for people and share the love of Jesus with them - most have never heard the name of Jesus and are very open to hearing about the gospel.
We are also looking for a combination of 15 artists and teachers to do a variety of other ministry projects like teaching art classes, teaching English, giving swim lessons, painting a mural, and so much more! ICF has over 100 kids come to their campus each day who either do not attend school or only attend school for a portion of the day. You will have the opportunity to invest in the lives of these kids and help them learn skills that will help them succeed in their environment.
We will have different opportunities to help with some much-needed construction projects at ICF and are looking for 10 people who are skilled in construction, specifically welding, metal, and concrete (no wood construction skills needed as it is not something they do in Cambodia). They are reaching kids in the community that otherwise go unreached and the projects we will help with will further their impact in the community.
