Graphic Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Uphold the visual branding of Church on the Move
  • Design based on style and usage guidelines and identified personas
  • Collaborate to create and deliver boundary-pushing ideas and concepts
  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary creative team
  • Cultivate healthy working relationships with Churches, departments, and individuals
  • Research and stay ahead of current trends and techniques
  • Mentor, lead, and recruit Go Team designers and paid contractors
  • Support project manager in delegation to designers and contractors
  • Maintain and establish print and vendor relationships
  • Contribute to the management and stewardship of the creative budget

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Design, Art or a like field
  • 5+ years of design experience
  • A love for all things creative
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Proven project management and leadership capabilities
  • Understanding of design principles, specifically with typography and composition
  • Strong point of view, but a willingness to hear out other perspectives
  • Ability to receive and implement feedback and direction
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

 

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
