Assist the Accounting Director by helping oversee all Accounting processes and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile financial reporting for leadership, auditors, and lenders
Assist the Accounting Director in facilitating the Ministry budget process
Review and post entries to the general ledger monthly for payroll, liabilities, investments, asset additions and disposals, depreciation, miscellaneous adjustments & sales tax
Develop and maintain reporting provided to management
Coordinate the annual outside audit of the Ministry’s financials
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and quarterly general ledger reconciliations
Ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting as well as proper internal controls
Build and maintain reports on church metrics for budgets, financials,
Lead and develop the Staff Accountant
Oversee the monthly processes for Accounting to ensure that the books are closed in a timely manner
Perform accounting research and answer other inquiries directed to the Accounting Department
