Many people who profess a faith in Jesus Christ openly disagree with the things He said concerning the invisible spiritual world.
6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.” 8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” 9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out Your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face.” 12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
5 The devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to Him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to."
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
We cannot be obsessed with them, but neither can we ignore them!
Men will faint from terror as they await the troubles that are overtaking the whole world... for the forces of the heavens will be convulsed.
When pressure builds, people with no knowledge of God turn to each other.
We have become so used to terror that we are numbed by it!
Because of intense spiritual pressure, geography is no guarantee of safety.
God will enforce a no-fly zone on demonic forces.
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
"Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”
12 Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days..."
Do not let go of your prayers!
10 Then I heard a loud voice in Heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. 11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
"...He reserves His wrath for His enemies."
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God..."
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
