Back Good Question
Notes

“For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat.

Satan works overtime to convince you that you’re missing out!

Ahab had everything—and yet in his mind, he had nothing.

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”

33 They came to Capernaum. When He was in the house, He asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?” 34 But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest.

He called a little child to Him, and placed the child among them. And He said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me.

Who you take your selfies with is an indicator of what you value!

He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

…and of course religion (godliness) does yield high dividends, but only to the man whose resources are within him.

It is not the mission of our church to raise up spiritual sons but to instead raise up spiritual fathers!

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?
