Back Hidden Christmas
Notes

Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

CHRISTMAS IS HIDDEN BECAUSE WE ARE TOO FAMILIAR.

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

DON’T LOSE THE WONDER OF CHRISTMAS.

When Jesus had finished these parables, He moved on from there. Coming to His hometown, He began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t His mother’s name Mary, and aren’t His brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all His sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.” And He did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

CHRISTMAS IS HIDDEN BECAUSE THEY HAVEN’T HEARD.

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”

SHARE THE GOOD NEWS!

CHRISTMAS IS HIDDEN BECAUSE THEY CAN’T SEE.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

PRAY FOR THE LOST.
