Notes

“If You are pleased with me, teach me Your ways so that I may know You and continue to find favor with You.”

The way to experience God’s blessing is to find out what He blesses and DO IT!

  • God doesn’t bless fear.
  • God doesn’t bless unforgiveness.
  • God doesn’t bless envy.
  • God doesn’t bless self-righteousness.

God blesses diligence!

The quality of being persevering and careful in work; industrious.

Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.

He who is slow in his work becomes poor, but the hand of the ready worker gets in wealth.

… a child left to himself disgraces his mother.

Training is harder on the parent than it is on the kid!

A perfectionist pushes for his own internal gratification.

Excellence is a service to everyone it touches.

The soul of the sluggard desires and has nothing …

The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns …

An excuse is just a lie you tell yourself.

The most important lesson for a young worker to master is to do a job well when you do not feel like doing it at all.

Diligent hands will rule …

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
Consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander, no overseer or ruler
Yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.

… You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

The best thing that you can do for your own welfare is to seek the welfare of others first!

Socialism is a cheap imitation of the ways of the Kingdom of God!

Do you see a man diligent in his business?
He shall stand before kings;
He shall not stand with obscure men.
