Maintenance Technician II
MUST DO
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and within required timeframes.
- Perform basic HVAC maintenance (filters, belts, thermostats).
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, and clear blockages.
- Conduct regular scheduled walkthroughs to assess building and asset conditions, to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Track all repair and maintenance records and information in the maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Perform carpentry and building repairs (drywall, doors, locks, ceiling tiles, and flooring).
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Respond to after-hours or emergency maintenance calls as required.
- Perform snow removal and ice treatment as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in facilities maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors, under supervision
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Familiar with computers and able to use CMMs/work order system to document repair actions
- Ability to endure physical work, which may include heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects over 50 pounds
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Work on ladders and roofs
WORK SCHEDULE
- 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Subject to be on call
