Maintenance Technician II

MUST DO

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete assigned work orders accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Perform basic HVAC maintenance (filters, belts, thermostats).
  • Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, valves, pumps, and clear blockages.
  • Conduct regular scheduled walkthroughs to assess building and asset conditions, to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Track all repair and maintenance records and information in the maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Perform carpentry and building repairs (drywall, doors, locks, ceiling tiles, and flooring).
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Respond to after-hours or emergency maintenance calls as required.
  • Perform snow removal and ice treatment as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working in facilities maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, under supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiar with computers and able to use CMMs/work order system to document repair actions
  • Ability to endure physical work, which may include heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required objects over 50 pounds
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Work on ladders and roofs

 

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Subject to be on call
