Advent is for everyone! Our Kid’s Activity Guide complements the Friends and Family Advent Guide, facilitating meaningful Advent experiences with your children!
Plan to join us in person for a Christmas service at one of our three churches as we light the Christ candle, marking the Advent season’s culmination.
What is Advent?
Advent comes from the Latin word adventus, which means “arrival.” For hundreds of years, followers of Jesus have set aside the four weeks leading up to Christmas as a meaningful season of celebration and anticipation of the arrival of Jesus. Advent is a time to slow down and embrace the true hope, love, and joy of the gift of Jesus.
