Tulsa Next Steps Director
MUST DO
- Oversee the Next Steps ministries and teams for Next Move, New Believers, Baptism, Care, and Midsize Groups, while building a culture of discipleship centered around connecting people to their next step.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, develop, and coach team leaders and members for Next Move, New Believers, Baptism, Care, and Midsize Group ministries (Next Steps Ministries) by building relationships with them, caring for them, and keeping them on mission.
- Oversee the Next Steps Ministries and strategies, ensuring those ministries are being run with excellence.
- Oversee the volunteer Care Team and ensure best practices are being followed with Exit eRA, prayer, and hospital visit connections.
- Partner with the Tulsa Team pastors and Directors to ensure discipleship next steps strategies are aligned and effective.
- Create systems that increase volunteer and discipleship engagement through the Next Steps Ministries.
- Report key metrics from Next Steps Ministries to the Discipleship and Executive Pastors, providing feedback and analytics regarding the health and effectiveness of all Next Step areas.
- Ensure volunteer engagement goals and team requirements for each area are met.
- Oversee the pastoral care for the Next Steps Ministry teams and ensure that all volunteers feel valued and intentionally cared for.
- Assist with leadership of Next Move when needed.
- Provide pastoral care for COTM Tulsa congregants as assigned including serving at weddings, funerals, hospital visitations, pastoral guidance sessions, etc., as needed

WORK SCHEDULE
- 40 hours per week, weekends require
