Uncommon is a youth conference specifically designed for students in 6th-12th Grade. In 2019, it was born out of a hope to stir up a desire in the students of Church on the Move to be just that: Uncommon.
Our heart for Uncommon 2025 comes from 2 Timothy 2, where Paul encourages Timothy to live set apart. We want to see our students embrace a life wholly devoted to God—filled with joy, purpose, and steadfastness.
Uncommon 2025 is about living set apart.

Pastors Greg and Polly Scott have been a vital part of Church on the Move for more than 20 years. Together, they serve as the the executive pastors over Next Generation students and young adults, as well as oversee Lincoln Christian School. They moved to Tulsa from Kentucky in 2003 and have three adult children Ethan, and his wife Aimee, Abigail, and Gabe. They also have 2 grandchildren, Mylo and Jak. They have a heart to see this next generation passionately pursue Jesus and take next steps toward discipleship, so they can live out the purpose God has called them to.
Tanner is the Next Generation Pastor at Celebration Church in Austin, TX, focused on empowering young people to connect with Christ, the local church, and their callings. As the pioneer and leader of WAVE Students and WAVE Student Conference, he believes this generation will be “The Wave” that God uses to reach the world. Tanner loves sharing the gospel in engaging ways that inspire and challenge people in their personal lives with God.
