Kids Are a Big Deal to God
Kids are a big deal to God, so they’re a big deal to us! Each week in Kids on the Move, our team brings the Bible to life through sharing Bible stories, playing games, singing and dancing, and diving deeper into a foundational Biblical truth. Our Goal is to introduce kids to the real Jesus and we disciple kids using three core strategies: Learning, Community, and Practice.

Learning
We believe disciples are first and foremost learners. Throughout our content on the weekend and at home resources, there are seven foundational truths that we want kids to understand:
1. You can trust God’s Word
2. God created everything.
3. God is good.
4. Jesus came to save sinners.
5. The Church is God’s Family.
6. You were made to become like Jesus.
7. God’s Spirit lives inside of you.

Community
We believe disciples are best formed in community with other disciples. When we live in a family, we pick up on the patterns to that family. The church Is God’s family. It’s not just a place to learn truth, but an embodied community where truth is lived out in community.
Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Practice
We believe disciples are meant to practice what they learn. Formation does not happen without this. We want kids to not only learn the Story of Scripture, but to begin to live it out through practicing prayer, Bible reading, and other spiritual disciplines.
