HOLY SPIRIT CLASS -- God's Empowering Presence in Your Everyday Life [Summer Midsize Group]
Our brand new HOLY SPIRIT CLASS is a 5-week midsize group that will meet Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 PM (June 16 through July 14) in the FELLOWSHIP HALL.
This class is for anyone at any stage in your journey following Jesus. Stephen Posey (Spiritual Formation Pastor) has written a 5-week study guide and will be leading each week's active learning environment. If you've been part of our active learning environments before you know these classes are not simply about coming to consume content. We see each attendee as a contributing participant! Your story will help this class take shape! Each week you'll spend time in personal study in Scripture (via the guide) and participate in discussion at your table when we gather.
We'll hear biblical teaching, take communion together, worship together, and pray for one another! Week One KNOW — Who is the Holy Spirit? Week Two LISTEN — How Do I Know If That’s God Talking? Week Three SPEAK — What’s the Deal with Tongues? Week Four STAND — How Do I Fight Spiritual Battles? Week Five LOVE — What Does Everyday Life in the Spirit Look Like?

A virtual group: Bible Project
The Bible Project's mission is to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus. We're a group of men who want to learn more about Jesus, so we're doing the Bible Project Reflections Bible Study: bibleproject.com/bible-studies. Come experience the Bible with us and grow closer to God along the way!
East Tulsa Men's Fellowship
Our group is a blend of men varying in background, age, and interest. We meet in the Tulsa/Catoosa area. Our goal is to have open discussions and to grow while encouraging each other to take our next step spiritually and in every area of our lives. Last semester we joined the Genesis Bible Study (Part Two) Mid-Sized Group. This summer we will be going through the Genesis Bible Study (Part One) done the prior semester so we can complete the series. Also, we plan to go camping sometime after the rain stops.
MAJOR Men Two
We meet at the same time and place with MAJOR Men One. We are currently meeting every two weeks on Saturday mornings for breakfast and discussion of a bible study or a book (currently the epistles of John). We also do approximately one project per quarter for people who need help with home repairs, etc. You do not have to participate in our projects to be a member of our group, nor do you need to be skilled at any particular trade. Just bring an appetite for good food and the word of the Lord.
Business Ownership God's Way (Current and Future Owners)
Our focus is Business and how God can work through business ownership. We know that God has no problem with "profit" as long as we make it His way. There is an emphasis on business ownership and those that desire to own a business but not restricted to just owners. Our meeting usual meeting place is the Panera Bread on 71st just east of Hwy 169 (in front of Lowes) however for this season we'll meet virtually using Zoom.
We start at 7:30 PM typically end at 9:00 PM but men can hang around for extra time.
Claremore Mens Group
We meet every Wednesday at 7PM except for the first Wednesday of the Month when COTM has first Wednesdays. We have a total of 7 guys with an age range from late 20's to early 70's.
COTM Godmothers: Virtual Small Group
This virtual small group is a private Facebook group hosted by Sherri Torrez.
You can find the FB group here => https://www.facebook.com/groups/cotmgodmothers
This is an opportunity for us "mature" women of Church on the Move to uplift and encourage one another as we are discovering our purpose and learning what it means to be a Godmother to the younger ladies of our church and community. (Recommended age 40+)
This group is inspired by the book, Godmothers - Why You Need One. How to Be One. by Lisa Bevere. (Book is available on Amazon and on https://lisabevere.com/godmothers/ )
If this topic interests you, please feel free to join the Facebook group for discussion with fellow members!
(Our Tuesday evening Zoom meetings are on hold during the Summer, but we'll update you when these start back up again.)
Discover Your Purpose
Sometimes a man can struggle to just be himself. He can put on different hats to try to satisfy different people. This group requires no “hats”. Just come as you are and experience authentic conversation with authentic men.
Beginning on Friday, April 2nd we are going to take a deep dive into the topic of purpose. Our dear friend Mark Delaney who has been a part of Church on the Move since 2004 will be taking us through his personal development program called The Purpose Mastermind. It’s a guided conversation that leads people to discover their purpose.
If you feel that you are living beneath your calling in life, this program will enable you to clarify your purpose and remove any roadblocks that hold you back.
This group is full of men that value authentic, bold living. We welcome you to come join us!
So, here’s how this fun filled small group semester is going to work:
We’ll meet at 11:30 (vicinity of 103rd & Memorial) - bring your own lunch. We finish at 12:40. You'll be out the door by 12:45.
Come join us! You’ll never be the same!
Katharos (May 5-June 23)
Katharos is a Men’s Masterclass that deeply instills the eight transformational secrets to freedom from pornography and sexual brokenness.
It was written and developed with three primary objectives in mind:
To equip men to sustain their purity.
To unshackle men bound by pornography and sexual lust.
To equip men who want to lead others into freedom.
Katharos beautifully merges the life-altering teachings of Jesus with sound behavioral science.
While most sexual addiction therapy begins with the mind, Katharos goes straight to the heart of a man. Once the heart is transformed, a complete re-wiring of our mind is possible, propelling men into unimaginable freedom!
