What to Expect at Kids on the Move

We know what a huge deal it is to trust someone with your kids. We believe kids and students matter to God. So, we’re passionate about creating engaging and creative environments that bring the Bible to life and show kids their part in the Gospel story.

Let’s take a look at what you can expect when you visit us!

Checking In

When you arrive at one of our churches, you’ll start by checking in at one of our Kids on the Move kiosks. Our amazing volunteers will be there to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. The whole check-in process takes about five minutes. For future visits, you can quickly check in using your phone number.

When you log in to my.churchonthemove.com, you can add or edit family info to make Kid’s check-in a little quicker. Find step-by-step instructions here.

Classrooms and Age Groups

Once you’ve checked in, our volunteers will show you to the appropriate classrooms. Each classroom is designed to be safe, engaging, and age-appropriate. We have separate environments for different age groups, each with tailored curriculum and activities:

Safety and Security

We take the safety of your child very seriously. Here are some of the measures we have in place to ensure your child’s well-being:

Every volunteer at our church undergoes a thorough background check before they are allowed to serve in any of our kids’ classes. This process helps us ensure that all individuals interacting with your children are trustworthy and have a clean record. Additionally, our volunteers receive comprehensive training designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.

We have a dedicated security team present at all our locations. These trained professionals are vigilant and ready to address any safety concerns that may arise. Their presence helps create a secure atmosphere, allowing both children and parents to feel at ease.

To further safeguard your children, we adhere to a strict two-adult female bathroom policy. This means that no child is ever alone with an adult in the bathroom.

For the safety and well-being of all children, we do not allow outside food or drinks in our classrooms. Church on the Move provides snacks when appropriate, ensuring that parents are made aware when food items will be made available to your child. This policy helps us manage dietary restrictions and prevent any potential food-related incidents.
